But really, hats aside, I'm just a guy who wants you to succeed, be happy and live on your own terms. I have helped thousands of people to gain clarity and confidence in their lives. I cannot imagine a more joyful thing to do. This isn't a job for me. It's my calling.

The plot twist
Epic meltdown in New York whilst on vacation. Even Madonna couldn't save me. The event that would trigger a seismic shift in my life. Best thing ever.
2017
Becoming a coach
Major changes and redefinitions continue. Full immersion into the world of self-development, coaching, and dreaming of building a school of life. Started my coaching practice.

Recorded the first episode of The LITO Podcast when random inspiration struck. The rest is blisstory. More evidence that when you follow joy, nothing is a coincidence.

Made partner in venture builder Eight Mercatus. Achieved my wildest dream and gave my first Google Talk! Sold my cars. Sold my penthouse. Decided to right-size my lifestyle.

Letting go, building new
Sold my business. Launched LITO Academy after three years of running the LITO Podcast, for listeners ready to take their self-work to a new level. Apartmentofu was born.

Six figures and 100 episodes
Launched my 1:1 coaching container, which lives on today as In Your Pocket. Recorded our 100th podcast episode. Received the LCS 100K Award for being a 6-figure coach.
2023
Off the vision board
Took our first LITO Retreat to Finnish Lapland. It sat on my vision board for years, and then it was real. Yay!

The lil pink book
My lil pink book sold out. Then it won an ADC Silver Cube for publishing and a Golden Pin Design Mark, the most influential design award in the Chinese-speaking world.

Northern lights and a big exit
Back to Lapland for our second LITO Retreat. Started co-building Hopper with Cedrik. And in October I sold the last of my publishing business, my third company, after about 18 years.

A new home for my people
The Circle opened in March and took over from LITO Academy. In Your Pocket became my 1:1 coaching home in May. And mid-year Simone and I launched Joyful AI Lab.

Fun things with fun people
Doing good things with good people, and making fun things with fun people. My big mission right now is teaching and building AI systems for small business owners and solo founders at Joyful AI Lab. Making music with LITO Labs, part label, part creative studio, part gathering place for artists and music lovers who feel deeply. And filling seats for the SKYYE Retreat under the northern lights, March 2027.
And the next chapter? A hotel in the wild Lapland wilderness. Watch this space.

Waking up without an alarm, good coffee (kosong), fried chicken, freedom, flexible schedules, doing joyful work, smelling great, lots of white pepper, and to be surrounded by really great humans.
When we separate the negotiables from the non-negotiables, we start to live life based on our own terms. We start each day with a blank canvas. What will you be adding/removing on your canvas of life today?
